Parador builds new logistics centre

Parador breaks ground for the new logistics centre in Coesfeld, sending a clear signal for greater efficiency and sustainability at the site.

Parador is top innovator 2022

Parador is included in the ranks of Germany's 100 most innovative medium-sized companies with the TOP 100 seal of approval and honoured as a Top Innovator 2022.

October 2021

Parador opens 360 degree tour

Retail partners and end customers can take a virtual 360-degree tour of the Parador Trend Centre. The tour leads through the various areas of the Trend Centre and allows visitors to experience them in an informative way. It can be accessed via the Parador Online Brand Store.

August 2021

Parador plans climate-neutral production by 2025

Parador decides to massively reduce carbon dioxide emissions in production by the end of 2025 and to make production at the Coesfeld and Güssing sites climate-neutral.

February 2021

Parador opens digital customer studio

For the first time, Parador personally presented all new product developments to its retail partners in the ‘Digital Parador Customer Studio’ in an individual live stream.

Parador launches online brand store

With the Online Brand Store, Parador is creating an e-commerce platform that combines the online and offline worlds in order to maximise customer orientation.

Joint venture China

Parador continues its expansion in the Chinese market with a strategic partnership.

HIL acquires Parador

HIL Limited, a subsidiary of the Indian CK Birla Group, acquires Parador from the previous main owner, NORDHolding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH.´HIL Limited is the leading producer of building materials and building components in India.

Second International Trade Days

Parador once again invites to Coesfeld: Under the motto ‘The Character of Performance’, Parador presents new products and services as well as the new studio concept for the point of sale to its retail partners in the newly designed Trend Centre.

2017

Parador celebrates its 40th anniversary

To mark its 40th anniversary, Parador has launched the ‘40 years, 40 projects’ campaign. Associations, charitable organisations, businesses and private individuals can enter a competition to win a floor worth up to €4,000. An internal jury will select a total of 40 projects and document their realisation.

2016

NORD Holding acquires Parador

NORD Holding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH acquires Parador and its subsidiaries from the previous owner, the Hüls Group, with effect from 1 October 2016.

2015

First International Trade Days

Parador invites its retail partners to the first International Trade Days in autumn 2015 to inform them about the latest product and service developments at its own trend centre in Coesfeld.

2012

Parador presents new Eco Balance ranges

With Eco Balance PUR, Parador presents a new, plasticiser-free resilient floor covering. The healthy and sustainable range is complemented by Eco Balance Laminate Flooring and Eco Balance Engineered Wood Flooring.

2011

Parador develops new brand positioning

The claim ‘living performance’ accompanies the Parador brand from now on.

2009

First Design Edition from Parador

The positioning ‘Luxury flooring concepts’ is confirmed in the product range of the Edition Design collection and the Laminate Identity product.

2007

Parador founds Parador Parkettwerke

Parador takes over Gebrüder Meyer Parkettindustrie GmbH in Güssing and founds Parador Parkettwerke.

2001

Joint venture

Parador enters into a joint venture with Gebrüder Meyer Parkettindustrie GmbH in Güssing.

1977

Foundation

Parador is founded in Coesfeld.
